We are pleased to announce Jennifer Campbell is our Teacher of the Year!

All of our kindergarten - 4th grade students have a buddy in another class and grade this year. The students have fun reading, doing crafts and just talking with their buddies each month. This is a great program and has help our school community grow closer.

Each of our 4th grade homerooms held a Spelling Bee. Logan Jones won in Mrs. Pizarro's class and Ashton Hall was the runner up. Makayla Hodge was the winner in Mrs. Ross' class and Tristan McCorkle was the runner up. Sofia Blandon was the winner in Mrs. Short's class and Ava Broome was the runner up. We are so proud of all of them!!

We are so proud of William Beam, Haley Smith, Tristan McCorkle and Isabella Styers who will be representing Grover at the Cleveland County Elementary Honor's Chorus. Congratulations!!

Logan Jones will represent Grover at the Cleveland County District Spelling Bee. Makayla Hodge is our runner up. We are so proud of our super spellers.

We are so thankful to have a full time counselor on staff. All of our K-4 students see Mrs. Lemons weekly for a guidance lesson. She also provides behavior interventions for students. Thank you Mrs. Lemons for all you do for our students!

We have the BEST bus drivers! They work hard to get our students to and from school safely. We appreciate their hard work each day!!

Grover Elementary School is proud to announce that Mrs. Anna Ross, one of our fourth grade teachers, was recently recognized during the NC Council of Teachers of Mathematics conference for this outstanding accomplishment. In addition to this recognition, her name will appear in the Fall 2019 issue of the NCCTM journal and on their website as well. Way to go, Mrs. Ross!

What is a School Social Worker? School Social Workers are the link between home, school, and community. They are a resource for teachers, parents, and students to promote a positive school experience.
